What a perfect weekend for Hometown Holidays! The fun begins again today at 2:00 and lasts til 10pm. Tomorrow we remember the real reason for the holiday: to salute those who paid the ultimate price serving our country - with a ceremony at 9:00am and a parade following.
We went yesterday afternoon to sample the food and music and see friends, and took a few pictures while we were there. Thanks to Andrea Jolly of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce, who put a LOT of time and effort into producing a wonderful Taste of Rockville each year, for mentioning that she'd like photos for the Chamber - it was a nice excuse to get in people's faces with my camera! Here are 30 of them - click one to open a bigger version that you can save.
If you're at Hometown Holidays (or anywhere in the Rockville area having fun), you can use Twitter hashtag #rkvnow to have your photos or tweets appear on our Around Town page. Enjoy the weekend!
