Montgomery County's new $26 million, state-of-the-art library opened in Rockville Town Square on December 7, 2006. Offerings include new and popular titles, large print books, audio books, public computers, a free WiFi connection, languages, Children's Resource collection, areas designated for Children and Teens, a Children's Program Room, talking books, non-fiction and reference works, the Business Information Center, magazines/newspapers, a computer lab, quiet study and group study rooms which may be reserved, a public meeting room and the Ask-A-Librarian services.
Free parking is available across the street from the Maryland Avenue entrance in the new garage at 30 Maryland Avenue.

Adult Literacy Volunteer Information Session The Literacy Council of Montgomery County will hold an orientation session for volunteers interested in helping adults learn to read, write or speak English. Tutors work one-on-one or with small groups. No foreign language skills are necessary. Tutors meet with students in libraries or community centers at mutually convenient times.
