About the Directory

The directory is our collection of businesses, non-profits, groups, places, musicians & artists, service providers, restaurants and stores who serve the Rockville area and help make this the economically and environmentally vibrant community that it is.

Add your business to the directory

Our goal is to showcase Rockville area businesses and non-profits who are making a difference to the community in unique ways. In addition to showing general information about the business, we also work with the Rockville Chamber of Commerce and the Rockville Senior Citizens Commission to gather and provide information about which organizations offer Rockville Rewards discounts, which are senior-friendly, and which have products or services that contribute to a sustainable future here in Rockville. Here's an example, with an explanation of each of the icons shown below:

Business has supplied information about their environmentally proactive products, practices or services. These are broken down into 10 different categories in the greenpages to help site visitors find better information to enable environmentally-friendly buying/living choices.

Business offers discounts to holders of a 2012-13 Rockville Rewards card Rockville Rewards is a program of the Rockville Chamber of Commerce and the Rockville business community that provides discounts at over 100 local businesses to card-holders while helping raise money for local charities, schools and non-profit organizations. We are happy to support this great program by indicating participants in our directory.

Business has supplied information about their senior-friendly business practices, and is listed in the FORS directory as well as at Rockville Living. FORS (Friends of Rockville Seniors) is a program which is officially launching in November 2012 to help strengthen ties between local businesses and the senior community here.
