a dynamic musical about a troubled teen who goes to live with his aunt, a poetry cafe owner. Music and dance propel the audience, along with the teen, through interactions with African American poets of the past and present. We learn the importance and relevance of poetry, and the art of self-expression releasing the poet within via the spoken word. Entertainment for the entire family!
